Ive fitted the base for my Givi topbox today and have a question. The box weghs in at 3.1kg, and the rack says max. load is 6kg... so thats not a lot of stuff really to be able to put in the box. Has anyone had a rear rack loaded up with more than 6kg and has it busted?
I need to be able to carry this for a 1000 mile round trip so its a bit critical Wink

think it's piaggio being a bit "cover my arse from law suits" Rolling Eyes

you may want some heavier bar ends if you are fitting a top box, they come with the genuine piaggio box but obviously not with the Givi, rainham boy on here does some lovely stainless ones, drop him a PM Cool

my givi top box says 6kg limit. ive had it crammed with beer at over 20 kg before with bunter leaning on it Embarassed
