Glad you love your 300 we love ours too now (after some initial problems), now that ours has done a 2600 kms, we had it serviced just before Weston (after engine rebuild and run in again) it is very nippy, rather quick actually like 92 two up with tents sleeping bags etc, so I would say expect good things, but fitting a screen makes alot of difference too. _________________ It's Evolution Baby!

how big does the screen have to be? msc have the genuine vespa short screen, will this be big enough, or does it have to be the chips highway patrol size? if so , i ll stick to 70mph thank you very much!!!! still quicker than my lammy with mugello on though! _________________ D.C.F.C. The short screen does the job, and on your first rear tyre change fit a 140. _________________ GTS 250+PX 200+Dragster & Runner 180+ Hexagon 125+Hexaphoon project.

Been up to smalley cross scooters today, got the genuine short vespa flyscreen for £65, for my gts 300. I asked them if i could fit it myself in their workshop, Lee, (the owner) shouted the mechanic over and he wheeled my scooter into the workshop, where he fitted the screen for me at no extra cost, (in about 10 minutes)While Craig (the mechanic) fitted my screen, lee noticed i was looking at the helmets on display,he said whatever price was on the helmet, take 50% off, so i also got a £130 lid for £65!!! If you re thinking of buying a scooter in the near future, check these guys out, they cannot do enough for you, very nice men!!! _________________ D.C.F.C. Come on u Rams!!!! |

yeah that was great to hear on your local dealer ! but a warning to others my local dealers just charged me 165 quid to tell me i need a new engine on my trad scoot px200e , the price would have continued to rise had i not challenged them ! i rode it in and had to have it delivered home.
so the moral being get some sort of a idea on repair prices guys. Laters guys now totaly Darkside , Jim |

Couldn't agree more cracking bunch of lads always use them Lee and his lad always helpful and the kettles always on if you just nip down for a social chat, there not into doing any tuning or customising work but they will point you in the right direction if you ask . _________________ Whats a Clutch !!!! |
