Weird one this. Got on the scoot to pop round the shops and the GTS wouldnt start.

Turned the key. All the lights came on. Pressed the starter and nothing. The dash and lights all switched themselves off and the clock reset itself - trip OK.

Checked fuses - OK
Battery - OK
Plug - OK

Randomly pushed all the conectors I could find under the seat and it started Shocked

Any ideas? Do you think it was just a gemlin?

Thanks

S

Just spoke to my dealer and interestingly he thinks its one of two thinks:

1. A one off - hopefully!!
2. The CDI sender Sad

Apparently they have seen at least one more with the CDI problem. If it does it again they will change it under warrenty Smile

Ive still got over 12 months to run. The one they had with similar symptoms would do it every now and then, but always start after leaving it alone. Mine took maybe 10 mins and a few fiddles to clear Shocked

Fingers crossed Laughing

Thanks

The GT did have a patch of dodgy CDI/immobilizer modules but thankfully they all seem to have disappeared now...

New CDI 'thing' fitted. All seems OK now. Interestingly the scoot revs higher. I am seeing at least one more bar that I used to.
