How are you supposed to get these tight, the bottom one's at a really bad angle, and I can't get a straight socket bar into it. I've just taken off my end-can to get at my back wheel, and I noticed the downpipe is moving really easily. _________________ C'mon the Hoops! |

we use a 1/4 drive 10mm socket (some people shorten the socket) with an extension (preferably a "wobble bar" one) and a universal joint, but it's still a struggle, i think patience is the key _________________

You need a thin walled socket, rest it loose on top of your ext bar. Then offer it up and let the socket wiggle itself onto the nut then push the ext bar home. Ofcoarse this is after you've got the nut on the stud but I can't remember how I did that. |
