Hi,

Could anyoe please advise me how to remove graphics from a GTS 250 ?

Would it leave an outline or marks and what sort of polish would I use on the bodywork to shine her up ?

Thanks for your help

If you mean the ridiculously poor quality "chrome" decals, I just peeled them off then used a little WD40 to remove any glue remaining.

gentle heat with a hairdryer should make them nice and soft so you can peel them off,t-cut is a coulour restorer dont go mad with it though as it does remove paint!! and always use a good polish after t-cutting it Wink

You will see where the stickers have been once removed as its amazing how many small swirls marks paint gets in normal use, and obviously where the stickers have been wont be effected, so youll get a small variation in shine...

But heat the panel gentle, doesnt need to be HOT just warmed which softens the vinyl and makes if remove easily, then once all off wipe wipe the surface with a kind solvent ie brake cleaner, lighter fluid to remove the glue residue.

Once done a quick polish with some mild abrasive ie bodyshop compound, t-cut etc etc will help even out the surfaces visual apperance... then a good coat of a decent polish will seal the deal. (Collinite 476S or Crystal Glo)
