The 'bikers' Santa Run is on 6th December this year.
It is to Wraxall again.
Charlton Farm, A hospice for terminally ill children.
Generally, they ask for tickets to be donated to the local theme park and they also like cash
If donating cash, they have envelopes for it on site, so that you can declare you are a tax payer and they get extra wonga from the taxman. so take a pen.
It is very humbling to see these kids and their families who generally stay there too.
If one of the kids is 'very' ill, they will limit us to the car park areas.
It has been said when we delivered presents to Barnardos that it was a free for all.
This is totally different and if you take the time to speak to the helpers/ fundraisers you will see that they genuinely care about what they do.
One of them was telling us last time that after a surge of donations to start with a couple of years ago, they worry that it will dry up.
I am involved in raising funds for this particular place in other hobbies and will be supporting this ride again this year, RAIN OR SHINE.
Do not think you have to add your name to any list, just make your own decision and turn up on the day if you can.
If you want to donate and cannot go, then give it to someone who is going.
I will post details of the ride in the Rideout section when I get a minute, but go here for now and take a look.
