Hi
This is my first post has anyone come across flacking paint by the foot plates on their 250. I have just purchased a 250 (2006) and it is very bad is there anyone with same problem and did Vespa do anything to help.

sounds like it's had a floormat fitted at some stage Wink

floormats allow dirt washed behind them by rain to act as a grinding paste and far from protecting the floor actually cause paint deterioration Rolling Eyes

either get the floor resprayed or put another mat on as it sounds like the damage has already been done Crying or Very sad

doubt there's any recourse with piaggio

sounds like its had some paintwork in the past, the floor on GTS is plastic
n needs proper plastic primer. post some pickies if poss so can have a
better look. Cool

to be honnest the paintwork on GTS'S is sometimes a bit
flat but never seen paint flake off.

Never seen it flake off so somethings not right, likes been mentioned, it could be a previous repair being revealed? Get some pictures taken of it chap and let us take a wee peek!
