|
|
Im thinking of a bigger capacity scooter for me and the missus. Been on the Maxi Muppet site and decided that the various Jap scoots maybe arent for me and seem weirdly drawn to the 3 wheelers.
I see the MP3 is better for storage and comfort, but how does it perform compaed to the GTS250?
With the Fuoco, I can easily add some storage but Im hearing its not too comfy, again how does the comfort compare to the GTS?
I do prefer the look of the Gilera, is this a sensible idea or should I just go GTS 300 next year? |

Ive heard some say that the MP3 isnt as fast off the line as a GTS, due to the weight. And that they can struggle on hills a bit 2 up? |

my Gts250 is fairly quick, i travelled to Belgium with another rider on an MP3 400 this year and he left me when i was flat out, don't think there was much in it on acceleration, it certainly wasn't slow _________________

the master engines hate flying off the line anyway look at the weight they have to pull
people always say acc the gts is matched
me no think so _________________

I certainly dont want anything with the same performance as the 250, its the getting off the line I love! So, Im guessing the Fuoco should fly? |

Fuoco has decent grunt for acceleration once going... but off the lights a GTS300 is much quicker... |

You could get a Fuoco and fit a J Costa variator, apparently gives a good increase to off the line pull away.
Fuoco also looks good with a topbox on _________________ Gilera Fuoco 500ie

when we came back from the liege run top end on the mp3 250 was down about 2-3mph at times because of weight and size , to me no big deal. i rode there with a fuoco and of course there is a difference, but for me the plus point of the mp3 is that i got my tent, bed, sleeping bag all clothes for the weekend (toothbrush!) all under the seat....it is the storage king _________________ GTS OWNERS CLUB
