|
|
Hello all,
Can anyone point me towards a higher flow injector, and/or the variable pressure fuel pump?
I am in a turbo project here... and I am swamped trying to figure out an intercooler option, and figuring out a better fuel flow system than stock.
After having my last GTS throw a belt at 70 in a long left hand sweeper on the cannonball, which tossed me of the road HARD, I still finished 2nd.
I am doing some case modding to cool the belt or WOT distance riding as well. The belt needs to be cooled.
The turbo idea came up after having every single bolt on item including the exhaust (i finally have a PM) giving up the ghost from riding WO for hours and hours.
Any ideas for those two parts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Youll probably end up running a piggy back ECU and extra injector, as i doubt youll find either parts as direct replacements with the huge increase youll need for a turbo conversion. |

I dont have any yet, but we have some good stuff in the works. An oversize oil sump pan to help with cooling and keeping things nice, and I will for sure be running an aftermarket injector setup to actually get it to work. The ECU probably doesnt want to even think about the numbers I will be thowing at it...
The belt cooling stuff is really all about negative pressure with a louvered rear bunch of ports. When I make it pretty, I will post some shots.
For now, it looks like a drilled up case with some shit bolted to it. I am more interested in the functionality at this point, and then the aesthetic parts will come into play.
Got the brembo kit happening and some new serious suspension mods for the GTS that really make it track more like a motorcycle. That is more exciting to me than anything as an ex bike racer guy.... _________________ http://www.joelhamiltonrecording.com

I will.
Most of the inspiring stuff being done to the modern scoots is being done in the UK... thats why I check in around these parts often.
Thanks, gentlemen.
I will be posting on my failures and successes as they come to me...

Without wanting to be un-patriotic, have you checked out the what the Germans do? They do some crazy things all really well engineered....of course
Check out this film CLICKY all about the European auto scene, mainly Germans but does feature the Darkside. There's also another film which focuses more on the Trad scene mainly in the UK with a little bit from Germany... incidentally the film is made by a German film maker. _________________
