|

I've had my GTS250 for just coming up to 2 years now. Once the warrenty is up, I fancy a bit more power - but not doing it myself. Where are good places to take it for a moderate tune? I'm south of Manchester, but prepared to travel. |

the easy way is a pipe , a poloni variator and a 140 rear tyre as tuning a 4t is more involved than a 2t and more expensive _________________ Darkside, Norwich Broadsmen SC

Ta. Already got the Vespa screen. What pipe's in vogue at the moment? I'd rather have something not too loud (the PM race pipe on my 180 Runner a few years ago fell into the "too loud" catagory ) |

Leo Vince 4Road is nice & not too loud
PM has a meatier sound
Probably best to have a listen to different pipes to get the best impression. _________________

Having had both the Leo Vince and the PM, the PM wins hands down...
I had a J Costa variator too but took that out after about 3000 miles, not that it was bad, if I were to change the variator again I'd go back to the J Costa over the Polini or Malossi, defo quicker just reduces the range over the Piaggio one.
Biggest performance increases I know of are the afore mentioned 140 rear tyre and small screen _________________

The Polini came out on top when they were all tested by Scootering.........and it's the cheapest. _________________
