I sincerely apologise for my absence of late but I have been extremely busy. Also not being the sort of chap with the ability to fix or customise the parts on my GTS 250, some of your posts fascinate me but also worry me about your problems with your scooters in case mine goes wrong. Rolling Eyes
However. Last Thursday whilst riding down a very wet Ryde pier to catch a ferry I found myself on the floor and watching my scooter slide away from me on it's left side. Luckily the scoot only suffered a few minor scratches and the handlebars had twisted out of alignment but there was enough play for me to straighten them. The only other damage was the silver plastic leg guard trim which I am replacing this week. Is this an easy job please?

PS. I was shaken up and my backside is severely bruised.

Sorry to hear that Rich........... I believe it's not so much difficult, as in technical ability, but it sure is awkward and a pain in the arse.

He's already gone one of them. Laughing

I think it involves taking the glove box off. Not difficult, just time consuming.

Thanks chaps. It also looks as if I'm gonna have to remove the decals to sort out a few minor scratches. No dents though thank fook. And my ass is now black & blue. Anyone wanna see a picture? Laughing

Skidded down the road on my arse a few years back. The bruise lasted the best part of six months and went just about every colour under the sun. What 'til it starts going green and yellow... looks weird.
