Just ordered some chrome mirrors from sp4y for my gts, i know they ve had a bit of bad press on here, but i ve been riding lammies and p ranges for years without using mirrors!! my bike is black with the short tinted screen on, i think it will look the dogs doodars with them on, i ll post pics when they re fitted. _________________ D.C.F.C. I'm waiting for the black ones to come back into stock & going to get myself some of them.
The only mirrors i've ever had were on a Driver screen back in the early 90's......
Had a look at the chrome one's & they do look very nice, but won't buy chrome on general principal. (It's an anti-mod thing ) _________________ |

It's a good look! I get on with the mirrors, you have to tuck your elbows in a bit to get a clear view behind, but like you say compared to years of riding P ranges and Lammies with no mirrors they're a treat!

Spend a bit of time playing with the adjustment and you will get a decent view, its critical you get them just right. Got them on my GTV and I wouldnt go back to the Mickey Mouse ears |

I almost agree with everything you say there Adjustment is key, but when I put the Mickey Mouse ears back on I couldn't beleive how much better they are.... Therefore function over form wins for me this time _________________

had them on mine i found them totally useless at motorway speeds, when i change lanes i want to be 100% sure there is nothing close behind......with those little mirrors i had to look 2-3 times to check.....those valuable seconds are when you get splatterd _________________

After some of the nails i rode round on in the 80s/90s, not having very good mirrors is the least of my worries!!!! _________________ D.C.F.C. Come on u Rams!!!! |

Point taken Gav, but you see enough TS 1s hurtling down middle/outside lane without any mirrors, if i cant get on with them i can always no nails them onto my toyota yaris!!! _________________ D.C.F.C. Come on u Rams!!!! |

Fitted the sp4y mirrors, really pleased with the way they look, must admit its gonna take some gettin used to not having the rear vision of the "mickey mouse" ones, but they do work if you tuck your elbow in a bit, sure i ll get used to them after a while! _________________ D.C.F.C.
