When adjusting mirror position it seems like the internal spring has broken and it will not hold tight. Can they be repaired ? Does the warranty cover mirrors ? Surely they should hold up to adjusting by hand, anyone else had similar problem. |

Internal spring... are they the genuine mirrors as there isnt a sprung mechanism on the normal ones...
The mirror head is on a ball and socket fitting... the the lower stem mounts with a locking nut...
If its loose on the ball and socket then take it back to the dealer and ask them to get it replaced. |

Its the mirror head section that is loose on one of them around ball joint. If I take it in to any Piaggio dealer will they replace it under warranty ? |

Just go see your dealer and ask em to submit a warranty claim... if youve spent loads of money with them its the least they can do.... |

I had this problem with both mirrors on my GTS. Had them both replaced, and one of the replacemwent ones was also too loose. So I gave up and bought aftermarket mirrors.
Hope you have better luck.

Not yet Cheeky Thomas. Due for a first service soon. Should I take a trip up to AR Motorcycles to check them out or do you keep replacements in stock ? |
