Weirdly enough I notice that my handlebards were off centre with my front wheel (as in they pointed a little too much to the left). I have no idea how this happened as I haven't crashed at all. Just noticed it the other morning.

Could this be dangerous? I tried manually bending them back in place which kind of worked. I had to use a LOT of force to do this which makes me think they're not 'loose'....

Any advice - should things be safe?

Mine was off-centre too and the gts was new...so the mecanic at Piaggio to turn the handlebar to the max then to push a little more harder 'till it's okay, and it's in centre now. On the two GTS delivered the same day with mates , we were two with the same problem.
I didn't use a lot of force, so maybe you've got a weakness problem Laughing
No riding problems now.
Cheers.

I had the same with mine - took to dealer under warranty, pinch bolt was loose. i reckon i hit a pot hole with enough force to knock it off centre.

Mine completely turned way off centre when I came off last month. I managed to turn them back to the centre position and the IOW piaggio dealer told me there is a very slight amount of play. By the way. You'll all be pleased to know my bruised ass is no longer. Very Happy
