As I've had a couple of issues with my battery (nothing serious) I was thinking of getting some sort of battery optimiser, but I keep my scoot in a shed in the back garden, which has no mains power. I then saw this and thought perfect..
CLICKY
But before I go and order it I was wondering if anyone could throw up any concerns over using something like this?
Oh and Happy Christmas! _________________

I have rigged similar things on boats and had a good result so it should work very well on a scooter battery as its so small by comparison. _________________ Vespa 300 super BSA Bantam, pushbike |

You get mixed results with those things Smudge, and I'm personally not a fan, especially at that price. Better to buy a normal charger and bring your battery in the house and charge it, or buy an extension lead to your shed, or just start your bike once a week (or more) in the shed to keep the battery topped up ? |

i'd bite the bullet and put it a proper armoured cable and RCD socket down to the shed, take a spur off the back of a socket in the house, be good for garden power as well _________________

If you have a dog, you could fix a dynamo to an exercise wheel and kill two birds with one stone, no more walkies and a full battery. (was going to suggest a hampster but the buggers hibernate). _________________ GTS 250+PX 200+Dragster & Runner 180+ Hexagon 125+Hexaphoon project.

We sell solar battery chargers, in fact that same one from Oxford... and to be fair, they dont do much... especially for the money. |
