Laughing PMSL. This is the last time I'll mention the bike as it's the wrong forum. I only posted the pic as I thought you may be interested! However,I have either owned or ridden all the superbikes. In the last four years I have had brand new R1,ZX10R,GSXR and now the Blade. As you will have read in ALL the motorcycle publications, this was THE bike to have in 2008,unless you have £25000 going spare. I can tell you that this is by far the best bike I have ever owned or ridden, this includes ALL your italian exotica. I have mates who love and spend thousands on Ducatis etc but I'm just not keen on them at all. Not to mention they tend to go BANG when trying to keep up with the Jap litre bikes.
I appreciate your passion for Aprilia, and the new bike is mint. Like a lot of things in life,it's all about personal taste and I Love my Blade and Vespa.
Your advice on this forum is second to none and thanks for the tip on the polish,I have only used Autoglym and Crystal Glo for years!
That's a great shot of the ice melting on the Akras by the way! Smile

The blade does well as its easy to ride, for anyone... to ride the others as quick takes a lot more skill. Its a good bike without a doubt just not for me, rode it and didnt like it, didnt feel special... Ducatis have never done much for me, unreliable and noisy... only got the aprilia as we became dealers and a £12500 bike became very cheap, but i love it.... just my tyres dont Laughing

No offence meant in the comments... didnt realise you had one Very Happy

I always wanted a FS1E when i was young... the chap who runs the coffee shack in lowestoft has a tuned RG500 and thats a proper handful to ride... and i just love the ozone killing smoke it produces when you pin it to the stop! Just fitted a nice new set of Jolly Moto race pipes to it... sounds great! Like a row of vespas with attitute! Laughing

Yeah Mer is ok, dont mind it on cars, nice that you can use it wet as well...

The various autoexpress tests are worth reading, as it removes the hype and advertising the manufacturers gives, and lets you know how good the product is, and how well it lasts.

www.autobestbuy.co.uk sells the product winners in each catagory.
