After reading the reviews and comments of you guys concerning Beatsugar 4 - Two of us did Beatsugar 5 last year. Best run / most friendliest / warmest / cheapest rally I have done for years.
Have been looking forward to Beatsugar 6 since we returned. Have talked it up, and so should be bringing bigger numbers from the South West for this years rally.
Can't think of a better way to celebrate messing about on scooters for 25 years & my 40th
Word from the wise :- Big Ian is not joking about the camping/music issue. Also, take proper directions. After taking 9 hours to find the camp site last year (including a short kip in a McD's carpark - phoning home to ask the missus to check again on the 'tinterweb etc) this can be the most difficult part of the journey ..But then, I do have a reputation for my lack of a sense of direction..... _________________ It's simple, If I have to explain..... PMSL @ Neil - first time we went we spent 4hrs driving around and around Amiens the second time jumped on the motorway at Abbeyville and got it right first time. Just remember look out for Longeau and the Bufflo Grill and it's slap bang behind it
Look forward to seeing you there ( falls on my birthday every year as well)

I'm jealous as hell guys. I'll hopefully be going to Euro Lambretta earlier in the month ( if I get a ticket, but don't start me on that one ! ). I work shifts, and have to put my holiday dates in 12 months in advance. Once the holiday dates are organised by the company, they are set in stone and there's very little room for manouvre. Oh well, maybe next time. I'll look forward to seing the pictures. |

more details about this rally on scooter-scene site, this is the darksides euro event this year so we should have a good auto turnout
http://www.scooter-scene.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10471
a discount ferry crossing is being organised, as far as i know it's porstsmouth - le harve out thursday back sunday and will be in the region of £40 return
http://www.scooter-scene.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10799
unfortunately due to my works wank holiday arrangements i will have to pass on the thursday ferry and travel on the friday probably going tunnel or dover - calais ferry. _________________

I'm still undecided which is best route to go as I've done Dover - Calais a few times and the Newhaven route both are really good routes and reasonably priced, I fancied trying something different like the Pomey route but the crossing times aint for me so probably go Dover - Calais for convienience However may take Lamby and go Newhaven......just can't make my mind up
