Anybody know what colour cable from the ignition I need to connect to pin 86 on the relay?
Just discovered my multimeter is knackered....... Sad

Old school... and i like it Cool

Its a great idea to replace a fuse when fault finding too.... saves wasting loads of fuses looking for whats making them pop...

wired my grips in etc etc, stuck now on finding a position for the throttle side grip where the heated grip wire doesn't cause the throttle to stay open Twisted Evil

Keep trying and you will find a place they work, if not drill a hole in the cowling underneath in the join where the headlight cowl and speedo cowling touch, so the wire comes from the grip underneath the handlebars and then enters the cowling...

Here goes:

My Oxford grips install. The controller is still in the packet, so the only setting is on and off, so very discreet. The grips are wired via a relay directly to the battery. They are switched at the little maplin toggle switch under the left grip. This is fed by the live from the horn so the grips don't work unless the ignition is on.

tried my heated grips out for the first time today.............
