right my two pennith worth!

ok, u say that 'when' u have a crash that u will quickly put on ur l plates! wtf!! so ur telling me that if u have a crash, that your first thoughts are putting on ur l plates and sod anyone who might be seriously injured and god forbid dying, or have u even given a thought that u might not be able to put on ur L plates, cos u might be injured or god forbid dying. U cant really be serious about being so vain, if u hate L plates so much, and hate them with a vengence, pass ur bloody test. if u reckon ur such a good rider, why would it cost £300???

you say about people passing their test 20 years ago, not having to pass a more harder test, well the same could be the same with ur car licence and also, them people who passed their test 20 years ago, have been riding for um say 20 years! and u cant substitute tests for experience!
and when u have been riding longer than 2 years, u will see that most car drivers want to kill u, they think u shouldnt be there and u pay less vehicle tax and never wait their turn in the traffic queue/traffic lights so u deserve to die! and it doesnt matter what u ride, be it a 50cc moped or a fireblade and everything inbetween, you are the scum of the earth to car drivers!!
I beleive exactly what sean said, and the problem with forums and the like, it is soooo hard to have expressions oan feelings and what one persons mean compassion another person will read it differently and I know sean and the way he is and I can symathise to exactly what he saying!!!

right moan over with!

Chill out big guy - I may as well have said that I'm planning on burgling your house and ask whether you object or not.
L plates no L plates when you hit a a car hits you at speed you is still toast!

Yes I've been driving on the road for a while but that doesn't protect me from the guy who is drunk behind the wheel or the lorry driver who should really be sleeping rather than driving.
Your saying I need more experience and should resit my driving test? I know a guy who passed his test around 20 years ago and for 17 of those years he didn't even own a bike - go figure!
"Most car drivers want to kill you" bit of a overstatement - 'most drivers don't see you' would be more accurate I think.

Oh yes and slapping L plates on with my dying breath was not a serious intention on my part - but it certainly provoked a healthy response Laughing

Remember folks - don't drive angry Wink

Very Happy Bouncer, the penny finally dropped!

Thanks for your kind words previously, and also, as I stated before, my words were not aimed at you as a person, just your theories.

Essentially, what you were asking for was almost permission to ride without insurance and without a license. Your justifications were somewhat lacking in fact, in mine and it seems a few others opinions.

If some chavvy scrote came on here and said he wanted advice on how to get away with riding his 'ped illegally, most of us would have told him f off and gave him a right mouthful. If I'd asked for advice on the best way to steal and ring a scoot, I'd expect the same.

If an accident or incident is going to happen, L plates aren't going to save anyone, but the difference between being insured or not can make a lifetimes worth of difference to the long term care or compensation for the suffering of innocent victims.

So as you see, my thoughts were about all uninsured drivers, not just you. You are as likely to be a victim of one, as I am.

Cheers Bouncer. Smile
