Why is the paint on transmission cover so shit and flaking after just 8,000 klm on a 55 plate gts

get it sandblasted and sprayed
i got mine done local for £20

No, it gets quite hot but not enough to peel paint, afterall its painted as standard.

Its poor quality powdercoat as std, get it powdercoated by someone who does bike wheels and it will stay good for years... you can even get it done mirror chrome now so looks polished but without needing to be cleaned daily! Laughing

I had that problem on my former ET4 as well. It's just a bad monday job i guess...
