Does anyone have any experience trouble shooting the fuel level gage? When the tank is full the gage reads a bit over half. The reads empty and the light comes on when it has 1.25 gallons in it. _________________ When the world comes to an end, I want to be in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, because everything there happens "Ten Years Later" GO XYL's |

Yes, I had exactly the same problem. My 2006 GTS, purchased new in June 2007, had the fuel tank sensor/ sender replaced under warranty. Problem solved.
BTW, when the key was turned to the 'on' position, the gauge showed all the grey bars, so we knew the digital gauge was workiing.
Should be a fairly easy replacment if you have to buy the part and do the work yourself. _________________ "In creating man, I think that God overestimated his ability" Oscar Wilde |

Yeah sounds most like the sender unit is faulty. |
