My GTS 250 has started this nonsence again last sunday on the way to Southport, a Lancashire Alliance rideout, cut out at least 6 times from Blackpool 2 Preston about 20 miles, twice as bad on the way back, not regular, not bumpy roads, just when it felt like it, its happened b4, the shop said they had had it on the diagnostick, nothing wrong with it! but changed the plug anyway. Now its at it again, and the bloke in the know is on Holiday till next week, ace, trouble is if I mess with it it can bollox the warranty. Its not running right when it is running, stopped at traffic lights, its hunting, revving a bit, till it just moves, then dies off, keeps repeating untill you actually set off, most annoying is the lammy n px riders taking the piss, the future is it? reliable eh? Bugger! Just had new tyres on too, first time out since, 65 quid for tyres [hydenau] 60 quid to fit em! Savas only did 4350miles, or is that good? _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! The hunting thing sounds like a Lambda sensor issue.
The cutting out could be as simple as loose battery terminals.
I'm afraid all these scoots could have different issues so a trip to your dealer is a must rather than speculateing and costing yourselfs money.
I got a lady local who suffered from this and I must admit I'm not 100% sure it won't do it again.

i had the hunting, sitting at lights, revs rise and fall, turns out it was a crack in the scorpion drawing air in to "fool" the lamba sensor, welded crack, problem sorted _________________
