Do people get out of a tank of petrol? My biggest gripe about the GTS is the small petrol tank which means that I have to fill up twice a week. After an accident with my old ET4 which happened after I had over filled, I now never fill up completely and I tend to fill up within a couple of miles of the orange light coming on, therefore I fill up with about 6 litres which gets me about 110 miles. I think this gives me a fuel economy of 83mpg (one imperial gallon being 4.55 litres) on my daily commute.
I presume that this means that if the tank were full, I could get about 120 miles out of it. _________________ I could go on for hours and I probably will -

yea i get about 90-100 depends on my right wrist action, you cant compare to a et4 as engines so different and remember to fill up with the nozzle facing towards the back of scooter to avoid the overflow _________________ GTS OWNERS CLUB

Great tip, thanks, I filled up this morning with pretty much no overflow. _________________ I could go on for hours and I probably will -

I always manage to get £7 in to it at about £1.02 per litre. The most i got out of a tank full is 124 miles. Now it's gone over the magic 600 miles the need for speed will probably see it drop off. |
