Re did mine earlier this year, there was'nt much left inside at all . Repacking them is a bit of a pain in the arse though. Phil's broom handle helps so give him a PM when you need it _________________

is it easy enough to re-pack a PM???
is it a case of just drilling out the rivets near the tailpipe pulling the end off remove old wool and replace with new, packing it as tightly as possible then re-rivetting end back on?????
or is ther more to it......... _________________

I have a piece of plastic tube that just fits around the inner pipe of the PM. So I first wind the wool around this pipe, and then insert the roll into the muffler and pull the pipe out. Makes the job much easier.
