Have n't riddden a bike / scoot for 30 years, therefore went on a re familiarisation day with Circuit Based Traning at Mallory Park. Introduced to the joys of counter steering. i.e. You turn the front wheel in the opposite way that you want to go, a little like speedway, but the wheel movement is subtle.
Could not get the hang of this at all, totally counter intuitive.
Any thoughts? |

a few years ago i had a few big bikes and this method does work on them you are move placing some more weight on the inside handle bar rather than steering into the corner makes for a smoother ride. does feel strange but put it into practise and you'll soon get used to it. |
