the temp sensor is low to the ground.
this basically measures the ground temperature which is crap.
at the scarbrough rally my temp gauge showed 35c. it wasnt that hot even on that hot day.
the ground was really warm. _________________ revolution deathsquad! |

Yep, I was riding my GTS and driving my VW golf today, (not at the same time I hasten to add)
The golf read 12 - 12.5 degress and the Vespa read 11 degrees.
The BBC says it's 13 degrees right now. So there may be some truth in it... _________________

they are bollox like, they mostly record the temperature close to the road.
when it flashes you gotta watch out though, it's warning you of possible ice on the road. which isnt a bad little feature really. _________________ revolution deathsquad! |

people moaning about the temp display!! how about the speedo!!! thats even worse lol
but suit scoot, I would rather know what the road temp is rather than the air temp, thats what temp display is for on vehicles,
Also mine isnt far out from my car which is a vw passat, but maybe it isnt as accurate as anything else, but it gives you some idea of the temp which is more reliable than sticking a wet finger in the air!! _________________ Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Mine is always accurately 2 degrees above what ambient temp is.
Scary when you get a reading of 46 degrees C, comforting (or is that assisting with delusion) when you get 4 degrees C. |
