could be done but it would need massive surgery and wouldn't be worth it to be honest, it'd hang out the back of the GTs quite a bit.
queation has been asked many times before _________________

Ok thanks Maver.
I`d love a larger engine in the GTS,I reckon it could handle the extra power. The extra torque would be useful on longer journeys when carrying a passenger and overtaking. The chassis should cope and the brakes seem up to the job.I`ll have a look on past posts to see if there are any threads on the subject. _________________ The Stig rides an Auto so is always in TOP GEAR! |

Theres talk about a bigger GTS but not by much... it all started after Piaggio sent out a press release showing the new 300cc Quasar engine is now entering production...
... the 250 and 300 engines look identical, but the 250 is 15.7kw and the 300 is 22kw so about 8bhp more. |

Even with a 300cc donkey, people will still want to make em go quicker! Pipes, Cams, Gas flowed, Variators, Etc etc! just human nature I guess? What about an 8ltr V8 Blown Top fuel nitro burner, have to be in a sidecar though probably? It would definately wheelie! _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! A club wi owt a name sc. Ive got to admit....
i loved my gts.....but fully loaded with camping gear and my 18 stone....
i just couldnt keep up with my fellow gts riders...and i didn`t really fancy the tuning option.......
so i rode the nexus and the t-max and decided the
t-max was for me....the mp3 wasn`t available at that time ..... altho i wont ride a 3 wheeler......
i might like it
Now I can carry what i need and still keep up
And fook its fun.....and very very fast _________________
