Sundays/wednesdays is day off so normally about anytime, or evenings... or even during the weekday at work... even if i did it there its only 1/4 of an hour job max so less than £10 plus a bearing... Laughing

Wash oily parts in dishwasher,heat bearing in oven, and put new bearing in freezer ( best done while wife is out ! )

pressed bearing out in a flypress at work, breaktime popped 2 doors down to the bearing shop bought 2 bearings (spare for the rally bag) back to work pressed new bearing in, sorted Cool

Glad its sorted... wasnt hard was it...

.... but i wouldve used the expansion/contraction method as pressing them involves force, and its never recommended really.

pressing the bearing in went like butter, workpiece held square, parrallel flat tool used to press bearing flush then a tool that fitted nicely on the outer edge of the bearing used to press it home.

job was done by one of our toolroom engineers as i watched, i'm a perectionist and i was more than happy Cool

Yeah it will be fine and as its only the outrigger bearing it wont hurt it, but pressing should always be last resort... as it still needed pushing in... if the case was warm and the bearing cold enough, it wouldve fell into place.

Still forgot to sort that seat out for you didnt i Embarassed
