But if ya need a hand at anytime, gimme a shout....
Sundays/wednesdays is day off so normally about anytime, or evenings... or even during the weekday at work... even if i did it there its only 1/4 of an hour job max so less than £10 plus a bearing... |

Glad its sorted... wasnt hard was it...
.... but i wouldve used the expansion/contraction method as pressing them involves force, and its never recommended really. |

pressing the bearing in went like butter, workpiece held square, parrallel flat tool used to press bearing flush then a tool that fitted nicely on the outer edge of the bearing used to press it home.
job was done by one of our toolroom engineers as i watched, i'm a perectionist and i was more than happy _________________

Yeah it will be fine and as its only the outrigger bearing it wont hurt it, but pressing should always be last resort... as it still needed pushing in... if the case was warm and the bearing cold enough, it wouldve fell into place.
Still forgot to sort that seat out for you didnt i |
