My indicators and dash were cutting out intermittently for a couple of months before failing completely. two shops had a look at the problem but to no avail, now the headlight remains on despite the ignition being turned off!! Any ideas anyone??? |

Hi, and welcome to the forum. You need to put this post in the ' Problems ' section, where I'm sure you'll get some good advice. |

sorry for the lack of formal introduction but I'm basically rude my nature!!
But, no, I've made no modifications - scooter is absolutely bog standard - albeit a bit battered! |

what shops did you take it to? woolworths & argos?
what scooter are we talking about??? i'm assuming a GTs but it could be a nippedup rs 50 for all we know.....
sounds like a bad earth to me but if 2 shops have looked at it surely they'd have looked for an earthing problem
but then what would i know i make central heating pumps
you need someone like sir kingston dragster _________________

Sounds like a weird one... headlight issue is probably the relay stuck.
Dash and indicators will probably be a break in the wiring either near the battery or on the steering stem... need a better dealer i think
Shouldnt be hard to fit the cause... |

I did state the scooter was a GTS250ie on my original message but I guess you missed that. . . .
Managed to sort the headlight - as suspected that was a relay problem but still puzzled as to the dash and indicators issue. . .
The queues in woolies & argos were prohibitive so I opted for Kings Cross Scooters & Scootershed of Tunbridge Wells but no joy |

Try wiggling the ignition key and see if the dash has a crazy fit, it might be another ignition switch issue like someone else is having... |
