My indicators and dash were cutting out intermittently for a couple of months before failing completely. two shops had a look at the problem but to no avail, now the headlight remains on despite the ignition being turned off!! Any ideas anyone???

Hi, and welcome to the forum. You need to put this post in the ' Problems ' section, where I'm sure you'll get some good advice.

sounds like a bad earth to me but if 2 shops have looked at it surely they'd have looked for an earthing problem Wink

Sounds like a weird one... headlight issue is probably the relay stuck.

Dash and indicators will probably be a break in the wiring either near the battery or on the steering stem... need a better dealer i think Sad

Shouldnt be hard to fit the cause...

I did state the scooter was a GTS250ie on my original message but I guess you missed that. . . .
Managed to sort the headlight - as suspected that was a relay problem but still puzzled as to the dash and indicators issue. . .
The queues in woolies & argos were prohibitive so I opted for Kings Cross Scooters & Scootershed of Tunbridge Wells but no joy Sad

Try wiggling the ignition key and see if the dash has a crazy fit, it might be another ignition switch issue like someone else is having...
