I've got to say I always use my side stand and never had a problem. You've got me worried now. Mind you I've not had a lot of luck with centre stands. My bloody SS180 fell over the other day and my panel got mullard. |

mines ok too, but as said previously, as long as some muppet does nt come along and take the weight off it, or your parked on an incline. For the sake of an extra 5 seconds or so- USE THE CENTRE STAND!! _________________ D.C.F.C. Come on u Rams!!!! |

Silly question but is it quite easy to remove the side stand only and would it make the scooter illegal in anyway? |

hI At one Time Ducati motercyles also used a flip up stand until they used the cut out switch as used by the japs thus eliminating the possibility of riding with the stand down, is this retro to an extreme, anyway have seen Ducatis with the return spring re routed so that the side stand has to be physically retracted. if i get GTS this is a mod i will carry out. cheers Jimmeyg |
