Just keep the battery charged, on a trickle charger once a week or so.

Dont do it, chrome on alloy is biz, looks good for a bit but always starts flaking off, doesnt matter what you try to do, 12 months max before it will need re chroming, unless thats acceptable? _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! A club wi owt a name sc. Bamberbridge. |

Not always, if its done properly it lasts......Look at the Chrome tranny cover on Matty's Drag...been on for years and still looks fantastic. _________________

not going the chrome route, i've got a money pit lambretta that i wont use cos its too shiny, might even satin black everything apart from the frame. _________________ surrey district s.c |

Well all Ive got to say is, my chain case cover on the Lammy lasted only 1 winter and 2 summers, then I got it bead blasted to get the remaining chrome off, and had it black powder coated. Perhaps its because a Lammy gearbox gets warm? _________________ GTS250 its the future!!! A club wi owt a name sc. Bamberbridge. |
