You can try, but to be fair they make very little difference on petrol cars, as nowadays all fuel is pumped full of the shite anyway |

Make sure that you use petrol from a branded station e.g: Shell, BP, Esso etc., and not from a supermarket. Use the super unleaded, it's not that much more expensive for the amount you buy. You may find that this helps. |

Funny you should say that, both times the scooter has played up recently have been after filling up at my local garage (Murco I think). Fine all other times, curious. |

There are differences in the quality of the fuel that you buy from an oil company outlet eg: BP, Shell etc., and that from "other outlets" - lets leave it at that as I don't want to be sued by anyone. I see this on a daily basis, and even went to a Ford Focus today with "contaminated" diesel. Stick with the super unleaded as I have previously mentioned. Do you think oil companies will sell the same quality fuel to outlets who are then going to undercut them ? Think about it, BP, Shell, Esso etc would not need petrol stations if you could get the same quality fuel at a cheaper price elsewhere. |

I've started to notice a pattern, the scoot does it after filling up with petrol, I've been using different stations and that makes no difference. Strange. |

mine does it too, but it only seems to do it using supermarket petrol which i get in cans when i fill the car.......
never happens when i'm out on the run and have to use the major players fuel at motorway services.......
so no more being Mr Lazy, i'll have to fill the car where i get my food and fill my scooter at a proper petrol station _________________
