I will say this about the J. Costa: it is extremely simple and well built. I'm sold on the design as well as the function of the unit. The way the unit works, I'm betting that the weights will last much longer than any conventional design. The real test will be a side by side comparison with a Polini or Malossi.

No PM box yet - I think that will have to wait for the spring along with a PM pipe. I spent a lot of money in the last few weeks on frivolous things, now it's time to pay the piper.

I've never tried a Malossi, but some Silverwing owners have stated that going from Malossi to J. Costa gave as much of a performance boost as from stock to Malossi. I'm not saying that's the gospel truth, just what I've read.

Still think the J. Costa is the cats ass! No problems or concerns. Quiet, smooth and quick.

I just said to myself the other day that I've got to start keeping better mileage logs for my maintenance and mods. I think only about 1500 miles - I was out of town working for a month.
On my ride today I couldn't help but still be impressed with the acceleration between 30 and 60 mph.
